Development of the Poole Family Nature Trail was generously funded by a grant of $3,931 from the TD Friends of the Environment in April 2018.

The funding has been used for trail development, entrance signage and interpretive signage along the trail at the Poole Family Nature Sanctuary.

Thank to this grant, the trail passes through old growth forest on the property and the interpretive signage will describe habitats and species  found on the property.  A trail brochure has been designed and an electronic people counter will now track visitors to this beautiful Nature Sanctuary.
