Fall Colours Walk

Fall Colours Walk

It’s that time of year again — when the air turns crisp, and the leaves begin their vibrant transformation. What better way to celebrate the season than a visit to Blueberry Mountain at cliffLAND, where the breathtaking fall colours await? 🍂

Join MMLT on Saturday, October 5th (rain date, Oct 6th) for our annual Fall Colours Walk at Blueberry Mountain. Each year, Howard Clifford and his family generously host this special fundraising day to support MMLT and the vital conservation efforts we undertake in the Mississippi-Madawaska region. This year, we have a special goal of raising funds to help protect Chatson Woods Nature Reserve which is adjacent to our Rose Hill Nature Reserve.

Feel free to stop by anytime between 🍁10 am and 2 pm🍁 to walk the trails, ascend Blueberry Mountain, and immerse yourself in the glorious fall colours at this beloved fall destination. Blueberry Mountain has earned its reputation as one of the Seven Wonders of Lanark County, and once you see the view, you’ll understand why!

MMLT staff, directors, and volunteers will be on-site throughout the day, ready to answer your questions. Whether you’re curious about the land trust’s ongoing projects, migratory birds, or unique geological features, our experts will be delighted to share their knowledge and connect with you. 🍂

We also invite you to pause at the Circle of Gratitude along the Blueberry Mountain trail, where a series of posts and plaques honour MMLT’s generous and dedicated supporters.
