On August 10th, in addition to our usual hike, we’ll be sharing are historical discoveries about the region around Rose Hill Nature Reserve.  One of the donors of the property and MMLT board member, Bethany Armstrong, will share all her findings.  Bethany comes by this naturally because her father Charlie Armstrong, an avid history buff and the original owner of the property, wrote the book Away Back in Clarendon and Miller, about the history of adjacent townships.  You’ll not only get a glimpse of the scenic beauties of this property today but will also learn what it was like in days gone by.

Registration for this event is at 10:30 a.m.
